Thank you for the insight on the Tree of Heaven. Another invasive species that comes to mind when thinkinng of the Tree of Heaven, is the spotted lanternfly. This is an invasive that has been pretty damaging to a lot of vineyards and orchards near where i live, and i have recently found out that its favorite food source is the Tree of Heaven. I also found out that a systemic insecticide is being used in some trees to help mitigate these lanternfly by killing them when they eat the tree sap. Do you know if it is illegal to plant these trees, say for a vineyard to draw the fly away from their grape vines?
